Qualifying For HUD Housing Section 8 Vouchers In Naples, FL

HUD Housing eligibility is determined by the Collier County Public Housing Authority.

Income may not exceed 50% of the median income from the table below. The Housing Authority must provide 75 percent of vouchers to those whose income does not exceed 30% of the median income listed below.

Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Rental Assistance

The Housing Choice Voucher (HCV) Program enables participants to allocate 30% of their adjusted income towards rent, ensuring no more than 40% of their adjusted income is spent on rental costs. The remainder is covered by the Collier County Housing Authority via Housing Assistance Payments (HAP) made directly to landlords.

Waiting List Information

The HCV (Section-8) Waiting List is currently closed. The Collier County Housing Authority will notify the public about the reopening of the waiting list through various means of advertisement. It is crucial for applicants on the waiting list to maintain up-to-date contact information with the CCHA.

A&B Low Income Housing

Tenant-Based Rental Assistance (TBRA)

HUD Housing Low Income Tax Credit (LIHTC) Properties In Naples, FL

Listed below are the Section 42, LIHTC apartments in Naples, FL. LIHTC apartment rents are not based on the tenants income. Income credit set aside brackets are selected during the apartment credit applications are used to determine the apartment rents.

The rents are based upon the Area Medium Income (AMI) and tenant based utility allowances. At least 20% of these apartments (listed below), must provide these low rates for low-income tenants.
